Ufc 132 fight card

The UFC 132 fight card will be headlined by Dominick Cruz putting his bantamweight belt on the line against Urijah Faber on July 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Cruz (17-1)'s only career loss was a guillotine choke submission to Faber (25-4) at WEC 26 in March 2007. During the same time, a little animosity developed between them when Faber became irked after learning that Cruz would sign his name over Faber's face on the event posters. Cruz said it was not a shot at Faber, but instead was out of his frustration that Cruz was not on the poster even though he was fighting for the title.

The current lineup is below.

Pay-Per-View Bouts
Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber
Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben
Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman

United States 1-0 Panama

atch United States vs Panama 1-0 higjlights I'm tempted to call this USA U-23 team "Freddy and the Wonders" -- as in, "Wonder where the goals are going to come from."
This time, it came from a penalty on Jozy Altidore, who was brought down by Panama goalkeeper Jose Calderon in the box. Freddy Adu converted the penalty for the only score of the game, but it was enough to give the USA the 1-0 win and all but clinch a spot in the copa oro Live stream's Pre-Olympic Tournament semifinals.

The Americans kept possession of the ball most of the match, with the Panamanians sitting back and waiting to launch swift counterattacks. Adu and Stuart Holden gave the USA the best opportunities to score, but their usa 1-0 Panama the box came up empty.
Altidore, meanwhile, was a handful for the Panama defense, but he often looked frustrated by his teammates' inability to get him the ball. Perhaps he needs a strike partner up front. He seems to play better in the New York Red Bulls' 4-4-2 than as the lone striker in Peter Nowak's 4-2-3-1 formation.

Regardless, the USA is now in 2nd place in Group A, three points ahead of Cuba, and needs only a draw against Honduras on Saturday to clinch a semifinal spot. A win against Honduras would put the USA atop Group A. How copa oro  2011 finalLive that will be may depend on tonight's Group B match between Mexico and Guatemala.
In the meantime, can we get someone to tell Fox Soccer Channel's Christian Miles that it's "Freddy ADU" and Maurice EDU?" CONCACAF Gold Cup 2011 final, he can't seem to distinguish between the two.

USA 2-0 Jamaica

watch Jamaica Vs United States 0-2 Jones scored in the 49th minute and Clint Dempsey added a goal in the 80th in the United States' 2-0 victory over Jamaica on Sunday in the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals. On Wednesday in Houston, the United States will face the Panama-El Salvador winner.
Jones fired a shot from outside the penalty area and Jamaica defender Jermaine Taylor stuck out his foot, deflecting the ball past goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts. It was Jones' first goal of the tournament.
Taylor came out on the losing end of another exchange between the two nearly 20 minutes later. Jones beat the defense in the middle of Jamaica's half and was about to break free for a 1-on-1 chance USA 2-0 Jamaica Taylor tackled him from behind,

USA 2-0 Jamaica highlights  a red card in the 67th minute. With Jamaica down a man, Dempsey added the second goal with 10 minutes to play. Juan Agudelo's cross found Dempsey alone on the left side of the goal. Ricketts came out to contest, and Dempsey avoided the tackle and put the ball in the empty net.Dempsey also scored in the group-stage opener against Canada.
Jamaica entered the game as the only team in the tournament to win all three of its group-stage games without allowing a goal, USA 2-0 Jamaica video goals the Reggae Boyz failed to earn their first ever win against the U.S.Both teams had scoring chances in the first half, although neither team capitalized. Jamaica had its best opportunity early on, and it took an excellent save by goalie Tim Howard to knock away Demar Phillips' shot from the left side of the goal box in the fourth minute.

Dempsey's ineffectiveness in front of goal was characteristic of the team as a whole. In many respects, the first half against Jamaica looked very similar to the second half against Guadeloupe; the US created tons of chances without being able to find the back of the net.
That changed early in second half after a cross from Eric Lichaj was cleared right to the feet of Jermaine Jones who lashed a thunderous drive which Rickets most likely would have saved had it not been for the intervention of Jermaine Taylor, who diverted the ball into the back of his own net. The goal was credited to Jones, but it was the deflection that took it in. The two Jermaines would meet again twenty minutes later when Jones burst through the Jamaica back line and Taylor slid in from behind. Jones fell and replays called into question whether or not there was contact. It appeared as if the heel of Jones hit the underside Taylor's leg, but the contact was minimal at most. Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez Moreno had no choice once he blew for a foul; Taylor had to go.
But as the game wore on, Jones may have been questioning his own decision to go down. Jamaica were gradually getting back into the game, and one goal would have forced overtime. Had Jones stayed on his feet, the most likely outcome would have been a goal.
Fortunately for the Americans, the two brothers of newlyweds would leave their mark on the game and put all doubts to rest in the 80th minute. Donovan was in the middle of a lovely one-two with Juan Agudelo, who had come on for the injured Jozy Altidore early in the first half. Agudelo then played in a Concacaf Gold Cup 2011 finals cross for an unmarked Dempsey, who still had to dance around Rickets before prodding home. Dempsey washed his face in celebration, hoping to indicate that he had cleansed himself of the drought of goals brought about by nothing more than his own apathy in front of goal.Throughout the match, Bradley and Jones covered an enormous amount of ground in midfield. Alejandro Bedoya was dangerous on the wings before being replaced by Donovan. Sacha Kljestan and Bradley showed excellent vision. And Clarence Goodson was a rock at the back, with a number of good clearances and tackles. Jones Concacaf Gold Cup Finals takes man of the match for his role in two of the three most important moments, but it was an excellent display overall by the Americans.
